TO ON THE ARTIST
Ana Carolina Santini, an artist and photographer, has among her accomplishments her studies at the “ Escuela de Bella Artes del Uruguay”, the country where she was born and live for some years. Her artistic work is impregnated by the places she has been to in South America, North America and Europe, in particular by the landscapes and lifestyle of those people and cultures. She has added to them her own perspective of life.
Among the various places she has visited she has chosen the north of Paraná state in brazil to live, for she loves its power of nature, music, and the sweet scent of the earthy, as well as its people´s Brazilian way of being.
She is presently dedicating herself to the creation of mandalas and the cultivation of flowers in her country house. She is a restless questioner of the universe, its terrestrial and metaphysical aspects, which she tries to reach through photography and creation of fragments of different shades in a profusion of colors that brings up a fantastic work of very high visual expression.
